Ethereum Foundation with New Leadership: ETH Upgrade Pectra on May 7th

Ethereum sees important movement at both the organizational and technical levels. After ten years with former Ethereum Foundation executive director Aya Miyaguchi, the ecosystem’s leadership team is now led by Nzou. Miyaguchi has voluntarily stepped down from day-to-day operations and will continue to support Ethereum in the future as a strategic advisor and co-writer of Ethereum’s ecosystem strategy. Meanwhile, a remarkable development is taking place on the Ethereum blockchain with the next extensive upgrade called Pectra.

Ethereum Foundation with New Executive Director

The Ethereum Foundation announced that Miyaguchi will take on a new advisory role focused on strategy and community. This opens up a new level of participation for Miyaguchi, who initially joined Ethereum in 2018. Nzou has now assumed the role of executive director for the Ethereum Foundation and has positioned herself as a technical and strategic leader for Ethereum.

ETH Upgrade Pectra Announced

At the same time, Ethereum is preparing to roll out another technical upgrade. The so-called Pectra upgrade is slated for a target date of May 7th.
